So i've never read a ya zombie book before, and Habel has set the standards high. She has created a fantastic and very cleaver concept with this novel, and including the steampunk theme throughout the novel, made this book much more unique. Nora was a great leading lady in this novel, she was strong, smart and witty (and thats always great to have in a novel. Only thing i didn't like, is the continuous character pov change. Im not a big fan of novels that change perspectives, i don't mind if it changes between 2 characters, but this novel changed between 4 and that go on my nerves, espcially when i found that 2 of the characters chapters were pointless and not necessarily needed (but thats just my opinon) Other than that, the novel was a good read and it will be interested to see what Habel makes happen in the next novel.
