** spoiler alert ** All right. I finished the damn series. Y'all knew I would--glutton for punishment and all. Here's the bottom line:

I may hate Mac slightly less in this last book.
Love Christian MacKeltar
Love the twist with V'Lane
The Unseelie King is both a surprise and totally worth the wait...oh, you DEG!
I did like the twists and the ending of the Sinsar Dubh.
I always like Barrons, although slightly less since it would seem he really likes Mac.
I did like the resolution with the Abbey and all the sidhe seers.
Who doesn't love a good K'Vrucking?

I lost interest for a bit when Mac and Barrons were searching for the Sinsar Dubh. It was tedious.
Some of the back story could have been included in previous novels to avoid that irritating cliff-hanger pattern.
Mac, always Mac.
I wanted a more substantial role for Christian. I know he was a red herring and all, but still, I liked him.
I HATE what happened with Dani.
I found the end to be a bit anti-climactic--sort of tied up in a big bow and there you go.

So again, three stars. Not sure I'm gonna wander off into any of Moning's other writing, but I enjoyed the ups and downs of this series. On to other worlds....
