Jody Ruth As a major fan of the zombie genre, I picked this up with great anticipation and hope.

Alas, some of the stories in here are absolute shite. I know that a lot of anthologies are a little hit and miss, but I couldn't figure out how one or two of these tales made it into this book.

There are some gems in here, and the actual scope of 'the undead' stories are fairly broad and wide.

I don't think I would recommend this, which is unfair on those who have written good stories, so maybe the Chris Golden needs to tighten up on which stories he will accept next time...
