it was amazing

Chris Gardner is a friend and colleague, but that's not why I gave his book a five-star rating. "A Very Personal Finance Story" entirely deserves it.

It's possible someone might feel like Chris is jumping around topically--from sharing his gripping personal story of resilience in one chapter to discussing asset allocation in the next. But I think that's partly the point.

Life isn't compartmentalized, and it, too, jumps from the depths of tragedy to unbridled joy to every day life without asking our preference. Chris's book will help you navigate each of these transitions and better life (and perhaps tell) your own story.
