** spoiler alert ** Pros: I LOVED this world. It was fantastic. It made me soooo curious about how it came to be, and somehow, despite all signs, I NEVER would have guessed it was a generation ship book, despite loving the sub-genre. Our heroine is clever and really well fleshed out as a character, complete with flaws. As with the best written kick-ass heroines, I kind of wanted to be her.

Cons: I could not, for the life of me, get into the love interest. But, then again, this is a common theme for me with Snyder's work. It's like they don't become real people to me, and I certainly don't feel like I'm falling in love with them along with the protagonists.

Oh well. Definitely worth rereading. We'll see if the generation ship thing surprises me again, lol.
