really liked it
Read from October 25 to 27, 2011

- Very enjoyable read.
- Likable characters.
- I loved how the author managed to mix Vampires, Fae, Humans and Wraiths without overwhelming the novel.
- Very refreshing take on Paranormal Romance.
- The symbols representing each character placed at the beginning of every chapter was a simple, yet lovely touch to the novel.
- I absolutely loved how the author manages to make you hate Lucius within the first couple of pages.

- The world-building needs a lot of help. The way the author describes the architecture, technology and fashion made me imagine a very odd marriage between Victorian, Medieval and Modern themes. I simply had a very difficult time trying to visualize each setting, and as a result, it took my focus away from the story rather than allowing me to simply enjoy the novel.
- For an eBook that I paid for, I expect a lot less typos and missing punctuation.
- The beginning was far too rushed for my tastes. I believe the author shouldn't have made Simon and Lily practically fall head over heels within the first instance of meeting each other.
