I could have done without everything from Pakistan on. And he was madly in love with Karla and then he just wasn't? WTF? And how, in a city the size of Bombay, he just keeps running into people at the exact right moments? A novel doesn't have to be totally realistic, but that was just silly.

And the constant bits of wisdom that he feels the need to share! I read the story. I get it. The moral is clear. Let's get on with the show.

Still, a great adventure story and I will read his other books! Some of his characters were absolutely wonderful - pretty much everyone from the slum for sure! Still, I wish he didn't feel the need to write and write and write and write and write. He needs a really good editor.
