it was amazing

** spoiler alert ** Lots of reviews on this but will add I appreciated how Gaiman somewhat tied up the materiality question I had in my head about the gods he depicted in the book. the notion of them existing in material form in a location seemed so pedestrian, so mortal, in contrast to the central notion of theur very existence deriving from humanity's belief. By showing Odin at the end it could have been understood to be a 'reformed' Wednesday if one wants the happy ending, or instead another Odin, one who did not travel in the minds of those first vikings across the sea. I like the second option, favoring the expansive notion of the gods existing outside our confines
