liked it

After reading this book I did not think it was that good, but rather weird. I could not really get into the concept of how he swapped his dad for two goldfish because I feel like the author, Neil Gaiman, tried to make it seem too realistic.

I do not really see how this book could teach children a lesson, but thinking about it you could probably use this book in the classroom by telling the children that you should always appreciate the family that you have because they are not worth getting rid of.

The pictures in this book were very different from anything that I have really ever seen before. I did not really like the colors that the illustrator used and thats why I think I was so turned off by them. I am usually attracted to bright colors rather than dull ones.
