Mercy, who doesn't like her name at all, is a small town girl that's been living the city life since high school ended and who now finds herself stuck in a small town on her way to Austin, Texas.
Mason, Texas, however is no ordinary small town, it's full of characters who will worm their way into your heart and put big smiles on your face: Vera, the owner of Miss Maye's, the local diner, who loves Twilight, Earl, the cook who is completely head over heels for Vera, the dreamy, drool-worthy Shane who takes one look at Mercy and knows that she's the girl for him and then there's the cute little dog Underpants.
I adored reading Mercy and Shane's story and would highly recommend it.
Reading this book put such a big smile on my face and left me with a happy, warm feeling.

Thanks to Andrea Johnston, Kelly Elliott and InkSlinger PR for generously providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
