Jim Hayes is a writer who combines rock journalism w/ plagiarism w/ autobiography w/ collage w/ magick w/ miscellany. Judge Crater may've been a judge who mysteriously disappeared. This bk opens w/ a Korolev quote: "We will all vanish without a trace." It begins:

"The symbolick representation of conceptualizations of phenomena. My cultural work has been a failure. A waste of time. No longer do I feel the need to expound on the relative merits of the aesthetic industry. No longer do I have anything left to say on the subject. I had planned all along to demonstrate a series of fallacies with the rock critick industry and finally I would implode them with a concentrated piece of pseudo-scripted logic."

Succinct.
