Second Nature: A Gardener's Education

Honestly, a bit boring but I ended up finding myself quite enjoying some of his chapters as he mused on gardening topics while he cultivated his garden. I particularly liked his chapters on the seed catalogues, weeds and the nature vs. human chapters. I'm a big Michael Pollan fan (particularly The Omnivore's Dilemma) and it was fun for me to read some of his earlier work. But this is certainly not a gripping book - one to pick up and browse a bit at a time.
