it was amazing
bookshelves: nature, memoir

A small and almost perfect gem. I found this while scrolling through my library's ebook selection - what a happy surprise! I loved her descriptions of the snail's antennae twitching faster when mushrooms are added to its diet, and her close examination of the way such a tiny, slow creature moves through the world. I learned many interesting things about mollusks along the way, and her musings on the nature of time and her illness were beautifully written.
