I might be accused of padding my bks-read list w/ this 1. This is a small folding-out thingie that can be read in a few minutes. Soft sexploitation fotos of women, maybe from the 1940s, '50s or '60s, are recontextualized here to illustrate brief text instructions. #5, the final pre-masturbation tip, is:

"It is not abnormal to use tasteful visuals to stimulate your imagination. Choose a magazine that is erotic, yet intelligent and discreet. For best results, always use SheBANG! Magazine."

So this isn't even an artist's bk, it's just an ad for a magazine. To make matters worse, I have no memory of picking this up but given that it's from Toronto it cd've been from 1981 (one of the times when I was there) so that's when I've dated it as having been published in my entry. What the fuck, I include it here b/c I found it in my artist's bk box in my library & I think it's funny. I did have some trouble following the instructions though.
