This book is like the poster child for "white people problems" and "first world problems." It's all about the "trouble" of having a summer home on an island that doesn't have real plumbing or a refrigerator. Their car barely works and there's no cell phone reception except for this little pocket two miles from the house. And the two sisters are always fighting because one just flipped her life upside down and the other wants a life without having to live in the first sister's shadow.

I still mostly liked this novel, but it felt like whining most of the time. One of my favorite characters is India because she liked to swear and wanted to start a relationship with another woman. I did get tired of all the back and forth that could have been avoided. Not a terrible read though, and the narrator mostly fit all the women in the novel.
