This was my second time reading this book and I still can't help comparing it to the movie which was such an influential part of my childhood. Unfortunately, through reading this book, I couldn't help but notice all the places that the movie screwed up and its bad attempts to patch these holes it created. But it's a fun read, though it starts to drag on a little at the end (the author insists on writing 26 chapters to correspond with the letters of the alphabet). I really did like all the "but that's another story" bits that the author puts in and that are the final words in the movie. As a kid with a big imagination, these tangents were always fun to explore.
