Read in September, 2011

for me, this book was like light entertainment, however amusing and poignant the characters. i do wanna root for the hometown boy, however. (south texas, the valley)-- not that it's my hometown, but it's an authentic hometown, & earns my affection as conveying a real and unique sense of place.
