really liked it
bookshelves: young-adult, series, fantasy-science-fiction

I really liked this book. It's a book I've been hearing a lot about and have been meaning to get to for a while now, and thanks to a couple of snow days, I was able to devour it in a few short days. Now I am anxiously awaiting #2 from the library.

This book is not for everyone. It is a fanciful tale of angels and demons, chimera and seraphim, and the war they have been entangled in for thousands of years. It requires a lot of imagination and generosity, but if you're in the mood for that, I think you'll love this book. I don't know what else to say that won't spoil this book, so I'll leave it at that.
