Really, this book follows in the footsteps of Brad Thor & Vince Flynn novels. I enjoy the politcal intrigue and suspense. However, John Wells doesn't match with Scot Harvath or Mitch Rapp. Wells is a government operative who is trying to prevent a nuclear attack, and Iran plus China are in cahoots. Wells does anything in his power (and his girlfriend is head of the CIA) to do this. He is mostly successful, yet some questions remain, that lead to other books. It was OK and easy to read, yet really didn't have the action and suspense once would expect from this genre. I may read more, yet I prefer Thor and Flynn.
