liked it

This was the first de Botton's book that I've read. I must say that I'm pleased. It's well written and the narrative makes it a page-turner.

Beware! It can make you actually think while reading!

This book should be faced as what it really is: a novel. Don't expect to be thrilled by deep philosophical questions, but it sure is not a Jude Deveraux's book.

Maybe it can spur you into philosophy, maybe it can make you feel miserable, maybe it can make you more conscious of your surrounding, maybe it can make you laugh with its absurdities.

This little book is highly recommended, less then 200 pages that will turn to be really entertaining.

There's a movie based on it, but it is still on my to-do list.
