really liked it
bookshelves: wide-reading-project, read-aloud, primary, family-values, picture-book

A young girl's mother works very hard at the diner. Their apartment is destroyed in a fire. Rosa, her mom, and grandmother save enough money to by a nice comfy chair for their new place. This story entails hope, and optimism. I would recommend this book for K-2.
