it was amazing
bookshelves: popsugar-2017

Full of analogies and imagery and much, much too real! This story is creepy and weird. Norman Partridge's writing is rich in imagery, wordplay, and analogies. He creates a world that is deprived of human kindness and very, very dark. While the subject matter is fantastical, the actual message of this tale is extremely real and scary. If you enjoy Halloween and harvest-themed scariness and aren't afraid of feeling disillusioned in humanity, this is your book.
