bookshelves: tintin, year-reads-march
Read in March, 2012

The novel begins with Tintin, Haddock, Cuthbert and Wolff aboard a rocket on its way to the moon. They have fainted and are just beginning to wake. The Thomson twins come up, finished with their inspection and to leave the rocket but finally realize its already in orbit. The pills they took in Arabia come to effect and they start insanely growing hair. As the rocket approaches the moon, what other surprises will Tintin and friends encounter?
Read the book to find out!
I picked this book up 2 months after I first read a Tintin graphic novel(Destination Moon)which this book is a continuation of. I wanted to find out what happened after Tintin got on the rocket.
I finished this book because all the surprises and twists kept me going. Most of my predictions ended up being wrong.
I would recommend this book to Ben because he liked Tintin ever since Bruce brought one and looked at it in class.
