I have a movie in the 2008 Pittsburgh Biennial called "Subtitles ('16mm <- brains' version)". As such, I also have 2 pages in this catalog. Encyclopedia Destructica is a local artist's book producing group headed by Christopher Kardambikis and Jasdeep Khaira. They do an excellent job of making their publications. In full color, this bk is mainly visual in its content w/ short bios re the participants at the end. This is a limited edition, all numbered, of 300. 39 artists are represented. The work presented in the catalog is not necessarily the same work presented in the exhibit. The intent of the catalog is to show related works or notes & the like toward the creation of the Biennial work. EG: Bovey Lee has color drawings/paintings in the catalog, but the work on exhibit is intricately hand-cut white paper silhouettes mounted on glass. My own contribution has been so miniaturized that very good eyesight or a magnifying lens wd be required for reading the miniscule text.
