If you like Tina Fey, you'll probably enjoy this book. I do and I did.

Reading Bossypants felt like Fey was doing a one-on-one stand-up for you. It keeps the tone and humor I love from her time at SNL and on 30 Rock. The book is less an auto-biography (although she does include childhood stories) and more like a collection of essays on various parts of her life. She humorously vents about a couple of soapbox issues and also gives some solid, no-nonsense advice to women in the working world.

I wish she had written more about Amy Poehler, what it's like to manage people at 30 Rock, and filled in some more details about how she ended up at SNL. I guess some things need to sit a while before you should write about them. After all, Fey is so young she has to leave something for a follow-up book someday.
