it was amazing

This is, indeed, a damn fine story.

WARNING: not for the faint hearted, vulgarity-adverse, or those looking for the best way to write a story.

This book is about storytelling. Something we all do. Chuck - who is equal parts beard, bees, and genius - lays out a clear path of How To Tell A Tale. His examples draw heavily from cinema because, hey, we've all seen Star Wars or know the basic plot. There are occasional deep dives into the subtleties of crafting hooks for the reader, and very funny real-life stories (and terrible jokes). This book won't solve your writer's block, cure dandruff, or otherwise guarantee that professional sale. It will, however, get you to think about how you Do the Thing.
