really liked it

There's not much I can say that hasn't been said already. King is a master of a great many things - not the least of which would be horror and making me angry and uncomfortable. Not angry at him, but some of the characters are people I just love to hate.

And really, they ARE people to me. This book has a huge cast of characters and it took me quite awhile to get attached to certain of them, while growing an intense heart-pounding hatred for certain others.

This book has it all...a creepy mystifying situation, a memorable cast, an unflinching study of the very best and the very worst in human beings, and an ending which - even though I know many people have felt very 'meh' about it - I found to be quite satifying, in that it at least let me close the book and breathe again.

Which is more than I can say for most of the poor souls Under The Dome.
