Neil Gaiman writes books in which ordinary, sometimes even boring, people go on extraordinary adventures. This is one of them. With the light dark humor typical of all of the Gaiman novels I’ve read, this book tells the interesting story of a man erased from his past who decides to venture into a new world. The main character’s exploration of London Below, a little similar but mostly a changed version of the London he knows, is quite interesting. The description Gaiman goes into with this new world is quite good. I especially loved the Floating Market. This book has just enough suspense to keep you guessing and a few twists and turns along the way. An all-around enjoyable read.
