A 4.5 stars.

Gabriel's back in Salvation after wasting his time somewhere else after the death of his wife and son, though he hasn't quite gotten over their deaths yet. His family's happy to have him back, but treads around him as though on thin ice. Rachael's back to the place where she and her husband had left a not-so-good reputation, with a 5-year-old son. Almost everyone in town hates her, and they aren't afraid to show that.

He is determined to keep himself away, and she is determined to get a job.

The second Bonner brother, who was mentioned but never appeared in "Nobody's Baby But Mine", is the main hero in this story. It was really nice to see all the familiar characters, and of course, the new ones as well. I love scenes with the three brothers. Funny, and sometimes intense.

I'm glad that SEP had actually wrote this book, giving poor Gabriel and our devastatingly handsome pastor their happy endings.
