Kristy comes up with a brilliant idea after her mom has to make multiple phone calls to find a babysitter. She thought of a babysitters club. There would be four girls at one location at one time. People could call one phone number and get a babysitter. Kristy recruits Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacey. They have many crazy and stressful experiences on their babysitting jobs. They have their individual challenges and quirks. Kristy mainly struggles with accepting Watson, the man her mother is dating. All of their personalities compliment each other and they strive to help one another.

It was a cute book and I think I would of enjoyed it more when I was 12 years old. I found myself laughing at parts and relating to the girls. I like that it talked about real issues and relationships. I'm glad I read it, but I wasn't crazy about it.
