Chrissie I read this ages and ages ago, before GR. All I remember is that I forced myself to continue. I would not even try a reread. There are too many other books demanding to be read.

I can read s-o-m-e books of magical realism. Perla, was stretching it a bit, but it worked as a technique there. You understand what the author is doing. I prefer when you can reason that this could be possible.
