liked it

I read this for a college Enligh class. I really enjoyed the story and style of writing. The story explores the concept of lonliness in a very real, papable way, but with some unexpected characters. Certain parts definitely need to be read and re-read to glean the entire meaning, but worth the effort.

I tried to pick up another book by the same author, Gilead, but wasn't able to get into it the way I did with Housekeeping.
