What happens when a vampire gets staked by a unicorn? Yeah, I said unicorn. A vampire that can now withstand sunlight, see her reflection, grows a conscience and starts attending school. Oh yeah, also a super fun book, Drink, Slay, Love, happens. Pearl is the type of protagonist I love to read about while immersed in a book. She wasn't a character to be sympathetic towards, nor one to loathe, but instead was just admirable. Even as she dealt with having a conscience for humans and finding friends within them, I felt she never strayed from what made her who she was.

Drink, Slay, Love was a super entertaining, and at times laugh out loud, read for me. 4.25 out of 5.
