really liked it

I love reading a book where the characters walk, and talk and breathe life into the pages. It was easy to get lost in this book and into Eve's mind. This book is told in 1st person through Eve's journal entries.

1939 Yorkshire, England.
Eve had always been in love with Alan, who is a hired hand on her fathers sheep farm. Enter Jonathon Doren, her next door neighbor, who is completely opposite of what she expected.

This book explores the harrowing time right before Germany declared war on Great Britain.
