I read a lot of this type of genre and as there are so many books over the Vampire topic I expected to be....less enthused. I haven't read anything by Mikayla Elliot prior to this book, apparently this is her first publish, and I must say I'm excited for anything else she publishes in the future. I love the way I am submerged into the story line, I can feel, see, and taste what Neva goes through and I'm connected to the character when I read. Elliot does an excellent job keeping the reader following a blood-stained path, excited to peak around each turning page. I look forward to future publishes!

I read a fair amount from this type of genre so I expect a lot of the same things and utterances since it is such a known genre. Snow excels in blending of worlds and reinvigorate the vampire legacy. I did expect this book to have a lot of clichés and a predictable storyline, (as so many of them do) however, Elliot does well to keep the audience eagerly following an unexpected snowy, blood-riddled path. Without giving too much away I will say that this book is worth reading and I am looking forward to other books to come. I am just a reader and avid amazon shopper, I received no compensation for this review.
