liked it
bookshelves: bestseller-blockbusters

I liked this book and especially the way the reader is pulled into the story by the protagonist, Jacob. He is a very compelling and synmathetic character both in the present scenes, and in his reminiscening. I enjoyed the historical aspect and it was a very interesing story. I did feel that the ending was anti-climatic, and a bit unfinished, which made me disappointed in the book in the end. I enjoyed the writing style and descriptions. This was a well written, compelling novel, but the end seems rushed.
