It started with a kidnapping and then introduced to a group of characters that weren't really likable. It weaved the connections in a way that was hard to follow and then turn of events somewhat meaningless. It wasn't until Sigita's determination lead her to find the real reason her son, Mikas, was kidnapped.

I'm still not sure if I liked the book. I really had a hard time following the plot and connecting with the characters. I'm a little intrigued to find out what happens in the sequel but I think I may take my time getting there.

Melissa Do you know if this book was made into a movie? If my memory is correct, you are reading another heavy hitter. I think a glass or two of wine is in your future.
