really liked it
bookshelves: thrillers, crime

My first Wallander book. Thoroughly enjoyed.

One cultural theme I found running through the book was alcohol and its effect on society. I found it remarkable how he felt his career was over when his colleagues caught him drunk driving. I can't imagine such thoughts crossing the mind of an Irish Policeman!
