it was ok
bookshelves: fantasy

The story and idea of this book was actually promising. A young woman who can see and talk to dead people solves murders in the south west. The reality was a pretty tedious plot line. It also felt like the author was just trying too hard. Every paragraph had a bad one-liner sassy would-be joke. The "love scene" between the main character and and entity that had been visiting her every night took up an entire chapter and actually dragged. I should never be bored in the middle of a sex scene. I'm afraid this one just wasn't for me.
