Just So Happens
Aug 25, 2017
Just So Happens is a story about a young Japanese woman who lives in London and owns her own business. Her father passes away and so she goes back to Japan for the funeral. While the art was very well executed, I felt that the story left much to be desired. Having said that, I most related to the main character, in that her culture requires her to get married rather than pursue an education and career. I would like to have seen more detail in the story and a little more substance, more of a plot. I would recommend it to someone who wants a quick graphic novel to read.
