A similar set-up to Everything Everything. It's going to date itself really quickly with the emailing/texting trope. Got a little teary at parts as Jessie wrestled with the death of her mother and the ways that her life has turned completely upside down. Thought her visit "home" to Chicago was really accurate. It's impossible to go back to your past. You've changed. Everyone else has changed. I appreciated her best friend's reality check.
