I just finished reading this two minutes ago so the story is still fresh in my mind. this book left me feeling different things. relief that is was over, grief that it was over. I wanted more of the characters especially Kerr, the story was short but it a way its length was perfect. I feel disconnectedly connected to the characters, If I ever met Grace I don't think i would like her as a person, probably because she reminds me of myself a little, she has flaws, her selfishness if a bit frightening, and I hate that being mirrored back to me, (its the same way i feel about Katniss Everdeen, its weird but i never like characters who have the same personality as me that much, i don't hate them, its not a love hate thing but... its had to explain, but i can relate to them, too much in fact.)

At some moments I felt the book tried too hard. At others not hard enough. overall it was an enjoyable read, but I have read better from Miss Scott. Now! back to my manga!
