really liked it

Rather than just a flat, how-to guide this book presents the snowflake method in 'business parable' format. You literally read a story, about how to use snowflake method to write your story ;p

First chapter it was cute, second chapter I was like 'oh... this wasn't just a gimmick to get me into the book. Hmmm hope it doesn't go on too much longer.' But before too long you sort of stop noticing and just learn alongside Goldilocks.

At the end you get a more simply laid out step by step breakdown (for those who like taking notes and start noticing about half way through Little Bear stops writing on the board for a sizeable chunk of the steps).

Ingermanson holds the same sort of view I do about writing novels (and parenting ;p ) - you do what works for you - and it's always fun when you're on the same page as someone you're learning something from.

An interesting presentation of a inspirational method to help you work your way slowly and cleverly up to a thorough outline.
