really liked it

I really liked the book Hey, Al. It was a cute story of a janitor, Al, and his dog, Eddie, that lived a rough lifestyle in a cramped apartment with not much else other than each other. A strange bird greets the two and suggests following him to an island in the sky paradise, which appears to be too good to be true. The two live the life of luxury untill a frightful event which causes them both to retrun home, where they realize how good the home life can be.

I like the book because the dog in the story is really cute, the pictures are awesome, and it's a simple reminder to appreciate what you have and realize the grass is not always greener on the other side. I think it would be a good book to read to classes to inspire that discussion between students, and get them thinking about what they have that they can be grateful for.
