Come Out Mr Poo!: Potty Training for Kids

A delightfully cute book for kids (and parents), Come Out Mr Poo is written in fun and relatable rhyme, with perfect pictures to illustrate a concept book about potty training. Written by emerging author McGuinness, who is also a mother in-the-know, the story talks to the truth about the fear factor involved for many kids, when they are learning to do number 2's on the loo. Told in the first person and speaking directly to the child's perspective on potty training, I can see this being a comforting (and fun) book for two to four year olds, as they face their own transitions from babes in nappies to big kids. Written with empathy, humour and using the 'poo graphic' to perfection (ala Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo), I would recommend this book to parents looking for a fun way to approach a sticky subject.
