this is the complete story of Scott Pilgerm, a canadien slacker with relashionship troubles which varies from cheating on girlfriends, ex's, evil ex's to evil ex's of ex's.

this set of graphic novels is set in snowy Toronto, Canada and seen through the eyes of male protaginist Scott Pilgrem. these books have a strong cartoon style based on various manga (japanese comics) and have are full of videogame refrences, set up as a videogame than a actull story.

i liked these books because of the modern, crass humour and videogame style that makes refrences to games like street fighter, mario ect.

there was nothing about these books that i didnt like. it has fantastic characters, a great story and fantastic diologe. It continues to be one of my faveorite series's to date.

i first heard about this series of books when i found the tralier for the movie on the internet. i then saw the film with my friends and intstantly fell in love. i ordered parts two and three of the series of six through the libarary and bought the whole series off when it arrived i sat down for three hours and read the whole series in one sitting.
i hihly recommend this for anyone who wants to have a good time reading a book
