really liked it
bookshelves: urban-fantasy, paranormal-mystery, paranormal-romance, anthologies

The Dali/Jim story (from the Kate Daniels series) was well worth reading. For that alone, I'd recommend this book. Dali helps Jim solve a mystery about an outpost that literally went dead, and has to break a spell that he's contracted from the site to save his life. There are 2 wild life-threatening scenes, one involving a dragon and another involving a giant spider. Very fun.

I skipped the Otherwold story, because I hate that series.

The Stormwalker story was good enough. Janet and the gang are trapped in the hotel, which has been cursed and will kill them if they don't find the way out.

The Anna Strong story was fine, but I'm not familiar with the series yet, so I don't have strong feelings about it. In this one, she is judged by a celestial jury for killing an evil witch on hollowed grounds. She also starts a romance.
