Alone (The Generations Trilogy, #3)
Aug 12, 2017
Read 2 times. Last read July 25, 2017 to August 12, 2017.
I loved the first book in this series, Alive, but found that I progressively grew less interested as the series continued. I found this third installment frustrating because of all of the inane questioning and inner dialog that the main character had in the book. The book would have been far improved by editing out all of that dribble. I also found it rather off-putting that they (view spoiler)[ killed off my favorite character in the second book of the series and then had to bring it up at least once a chapter in this book. We get it. He is dead, the person that killed him without realizing that she was killing him already felt terrible about it in the second book, and he is not coming back or getting reanimated by some crazy sci-fi method. Drop it. (hide spoiler)] Overall it was a decent way to round out the trilogy, but I just wasn't real impressed with the story arc.
