really liked it

A read this a few years ago. The plot is simple yet entirely convincing. Wether is a character my heart goes out to. And Lotte is a character you can't hate or blame. My favorite lines are, "Also, he prizes my intelligence and my talents more than he does this heart, which is after all my sole pride, which is the only source of everything I have, of all my force, all my bliss, and all my misery. Oh anyone can know what I know-- only I possess my heart."
