really liked it
bookshelves: non-us, foreign-language, mystery

This little book only took me a day to read, but now I understand why the Commissario Montalbano mysteries are so popular in Europe. The mixed Italian/Sicilian text contributes to a story with a strong Sicilian flavor: sex, death, drive-by shootings, corruption—and law enforcement frantically trying to keep up.
